At VineVellum, transparency is a core value. We want you to know how this site is supported and how our relationships with retailers may influence (or not influence) the content you read here.
What this means — in plain language
Some of the links on vinevellum.com are affiliate links. When you click an affiliate link and make a qualifying purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. These commissions help pay for editorial research, product testing, hosting, and the work of our writers and reviewers.
Programs we participate in
- Amazon Associates: VineVellum is a participant in the Amazon Associates Program. As part of this program, we may earn advertising fees from qualifying purchases made through links to Amazon products.
- Other affiliate programs and partnerships: We also work with select merchants and affiliate networks. Where applicable, those links will function in the same way — earning a commission when you complete an eligible transaction.
How commissions affect our recommendations
It is important to us that recommendations remain trustworthy. To that end:
- Editorial independence: Our editorial team chooses what to review and recommend based on research, testing, and reader interest — not on the size of a potential commission.
- Quality-first approach: We recommend products we believe deliver value, safety, and performance. We do not promote products solely for the purpose of earning commissions.
- No extra cost to you: Commissions are paid by merchants and do not increase the price you pay for a product when you use an affiliate link.
How we evaluate products
VineVellum’s content team combines hands-on testing, expert review, and market research. Where applicable, we disclose whether a product was provided for free or purchased by us. Our goal is to offer clear, evidence-based information so you can make an informed decision.
Additional notes on transparency
- Affiliate relationships are disclosed on pages that contain affiliate links whenever relevant.
- Commissions vary by merchant and product and may change over time. Prices shown on our pages are the retailer’s prices and not set by VineVellum.
- We do not accept payment in exchange for positive reviews. Sponsored content will be clearly identified as such.
If you prefer not to support vinevellum.com through affiliate purchases, you can still access the same product pages directly on retailer websites.
Thank you for reading VineVellum. Your trust matters, and we are committed to keeping our recommendations honest, helpful, and well-researched.
